In the center of Tuckerton’s marina district amidst the rows of moored boats
along Tuckerton Creek, sits a quaint little New England style establishment
known for its friendly owner and fishing supplies. The owner is local resident
John Cooley and his place is the Tuckerton Bait & Tackle Shop.

The building, purchased in 2003, was transformed into a focal point for local
fishermen. John provides seasonal bait (live, fresh and frozen) for anglers and a
complete array of crabbing supplies. A select display of rods, reels, nets, jigs,
plugs, traps and rigs complete his line of products.

John’s goal is to supply all customers with quality bait and equipment, friendly
service and low prices. John’s fishing insight and knowledge of the waters offers
a proven strategy for all anglers.

Advice is free. Stop in to see John for all your fishing/crabbing needs and ask
him about
The Dead Sea Scrolls and The Hot Dog Cart.
